That's shown by the normal right angle between the two points of the horoscope. It is typical for the human character not to trust that what we believe ourselves to really be is enough to impress others. So, we play roles. Anyway, what we believe ourselves to really be is exactly what Medium Coeli presents in the horoscope. Aspects to MC The aspects special angles that the MC has to planets in the horoscope show to what extent we agree or are aware at all of other sides of our personality.
So, an opposition to a planet shows that we refuse to recognize or accept that side of our character, whereas a conjunction means that we are completely convinced about the existence and importance of that side to us.
A trine or sextile means a positive attitude to the character in question, but a square means struggle with it. If there is no aspect at all between the MC and a planet, it means that you're not aware of this side of yourself at all. But in other systems, such as Equal House, it can be in anyone of the 7th to 12th House. The deviation from the cusp of the 10th House depends very much on the latitude of the place on which the horoscope is based - the farther from the equator, the farther from that point MC can be.
Most common, though, is a position in the 9th or 10th House. Medium Coeli MC in the Zodiac Here are short descriptions of how each Zodiac sign influences Medium Coeli, the image you have of yourself, when that's where it is in your natal chart.
The Midheaven or MC and the Immum Coeli or IC are interpreted in much the same way as the Ascendant and Descendant are interpreted, in that they are all angles of the chart. The Immum Coeli is the point where a planet has reached the lowest point in its daily cycle; it is the point where that planet stops setting and begins to rise again. The Ascendant, for the record, is the point when a rising planet is first visible on the horizon, while the Descendant is the point when the planet sets, and drops below the horizon.
In most house systems, the MC is also the cusp of the 10th house, while the IC is the cusp of the 4th house. The Midheaven is, then the most visible point in the chart. It is in every sense, the point of culmination. The IC, on the other hand, is the most hidden, least visible point in the chart; it is also the foundation of the chart. Traditionally, the IC and the 4th house relate to the Father, while the MC and the 10th house relate to the mother.
We often overlook the fact that because the angles are axes, that considering one without the other is only getting half of the picture. Should you ever be placed in a position where you work under someone who does not respect you—who sabotages your work and views you as a threat—you may be prone to rage of the highest order.
It would be good to be aware of that. Should you ever be provoked, justly or unjustly, you'll need to be able to keep your vengefulness under control. The "eye for an eye" maxim, no matter how appealing it may be to us, does not give us back what we want: our highest good.
Revenge may be the most tempting emotion you have, and it may be something you have to deal with every day. But if you are trying to operate with your own best interests in mind, then it is yourself you need to think about—not the other person or situation. Just as it is important to know how our nurturing self is most activated, so it is important to know how our vengeful self is activated and under what circumstances. We all experience rage, and rage at being treated unfairly is the most potent. One final thought: I like the entry for sediment found in a dictionary, "solid fragments of inorganic or organic material that come from the weathering of rock and are carried and deposited by wind, water, or ice.
I think of all the years that had to pass to weather the rock to grind it and chip bits off of it, and then the elements of the universe, the air, the water, perhaps even fire, taking these bits and bringing them down to earth, to the ground. And there sprang Lilith. Lilith combines all of that plus metamorphosis into all that we have beneath our skin, the bits that didn't wear away, that stayed alive and true about us. They are still there.
We need to acknowledge them and face them, to make them our own. In that process we become real, not just a stick figure drawn in someone else's notebook. Lilith—along with Ceres and Pallas and Juno and Vesta—can shore our sense of self together into a tapestry that is written with our own names, the most sacred and highest, which are the ones we have created for ourselves. The Midheaven () is the cusp of the tenth house of the natal chart, and is one of the angles of a chart. The other three are the Imum Coeli (IC – directly opposite the Midheaven), the Ascendant (ASC), and the Descendant (DSC). The Midheaven is the cusp of the tenth house, and is. The midheaven (MC) is a point of definition in the ecliptic coordinate system. It aims to find the the horizon the midheaven point is likely to be, but it will always be the part of the zodiac that is due south at any time, indicating the point where.

This is the point of the chart that describes how you learn about and express yourself. So, although we know that the traditional, geometrically-defined Ascendant provides meaningful astrological information, at some times it is actually conjunct or opposite the geometrically-defined Midheaven, which also provides meaningful astrological information. Here is a brief overview of keywords for the particular 'life endeavors' or 'stages' of the 12 houses :. Without a solid foundation from the IC, however, we can never experience the success and recognition that we seek though the MC.
